Nebraska I-80 Eastbound between Lincoln and Omaha. I have to wonder where they were headed with this Chevy. I think it's a 51 or 52. Buick tail lights. I hope they're making good progress on getting it back on the road.

  3. I hate to think of the possibility of someone hauling their unwanted inheritance or yard clutter off to the landfill.

I think it's somebody hauling their newly purchased project home. I was trying to make out the plates in the video and I seem to think it's Minnesota but I could be wrong.

Awful lot of green grass and green trees in that video for middle February. Are you sure it was taken today?

    That would satisfy my curiosity.

    It's a 50, I thought it was a 51 or 52

    It wasn't today.

I'm thinking it was a nice car 50 years ago or so.

  12. It was supposed to come to my house but he's going the wrong direction. Probably too late to catch him, huh?

Somebody did a lot of work to it years ago.
I don't think it's there but I'd be happy if I went out there and found it was!

This morning I made coffee, sat down at the computer for a while, went out to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and was surprised to see the pot full of clear hot water! I forgot to add coffee to the filter! I must be getting old.

Maybe the thread title needs to be more direct "Who had a 1950 Chevy Custom on a trailer on I80?"

I don't know how to do that.

    Not yet.

You could be right, I'm not a professional title writer.

The "37" in the quarter window. Possibly an auction was along that route?
Why is he towing in the hammer lane making swifter traffic pass on the right? In CA towing limit is 55 MPH which places you on the right with trucks. Common road courtesy even if the limit is better in Iowa or Minn.

I'll tow in the "hammer lane" in the 5 state area around Minnesota whenever I can. We can fly along at 70-75 on the interstates. The right lane where the semi's tool along is usually a bucking bronco ride due to undulations.Smooth sailing in the left lane.

It`s been for sale for at least 2 or 3 years. I first saw it at the Fremont Nebraska swapmeet . Then it was in Salina at the leadsleds. I remember the frenched antennas wre a little odd the way they were done. It will make a great project for somebody.

I'm trying to see the frenched antennas in the video but I'm missing them.
