It hurts me to see such a beautifully kept original NOT in MY garage! You are one lucky dude. Clean up that original paint a bit and that thing would be perfect in my eyes. Totally Wabi Sabi.

  6. wow....you've succeeded in finding my dream car (see my avatar).

This is the absolute pinnacle in my book....a solid, original 34 coupe.

Damn, damn, damn. Wow. Damn. Did I say wow yet? Wow.

  7. Amen brother...couldn't have said it any better. That's exactly what needs to be done with that car.

Congrats, That is a once in a lifetime find, but for most of us it will never happen.
From reading this thread, I am sure you will be a good caretaker of it.

Awesome ride, congratulations! It's nice to be able to refer to a car like this for info on how they were put together originally. (Like Dale's sunvisor mounts.)

Barn find, garage find, the only thing that makes me mad is that it was not MY find!!!! Very cool score and good idea where you went with it.

Nice, nice, nice. Old "survivors" like this are so much more rare to find than restored or rodded cars, and I really, really enjoy seeing them. Congrats to you. Awesome.

I have looked at the pictures and read all the comments. All this time I've been thinking 'what would I do, if I found something like that?' Patina looks good on bronze statues. I sneeze when I'm around dust. I have driven cars with mechanical brakes and am still alive to tell the tale. Flathead motors are the devil's own invention. And, yet, you do have one bitchin' car and I know if these comments ran into next year, you'll do what you damn well please. Just like I would. Have at it, whatever it is.

  23. The comments worrying about is this or isn't it a barn find crack me up. I give a rats ass where you found it. That thing is just killer and I'm happy for you. I'd be thrilled ! Best part is it doesn't need much to make it road worthy. The hard will be what to do from this point on. Great Find !!!
