GPW that is. ;) Purchased in 1955 by my Uncle, I learned to drive it when I was 13 while my Dad had it. My cousins have had it since about 1982. My older cousin called me in Aug and asked me if I wanted it. One very quick road trip later and its home.:D It was always the familys hunting/camping rig and will be again. Has not been driven in about 5 years due to the brakes needing gone through. My Dad rebuilt the engine in the late 70s. My Uncle hand built the closed cab with windows donated by my Dad, can you guess what they came from originally. ;) When tax return comes around it gets all new brakes, new battery/tuned,fluids changed,AND DRIVEN. :) I know its a bit OT, but its a 1942 Ford with custom fab work. Hopefully I can find some original split rims, they disapeared over the years.
