I am new to the HAMB and new to the group. My name is Scott, live just north of Boston M***. I just picked up my 54 Ford this past fall for $800, running too! I just changed over to a 12 volt system, my first time doing electric work and it went great with all the help from all of your threads. I plan on doing it old school, going to take off the side molding and add the 53 murc spears on the rear quarters. Going with a burnt orange flat with a gloss black roof. paint the rims black with stainless rings and chrome bullet lugs wide whites. The 223 purrs so nice you can't hear it run. I will keep the 6 in it this year and would like to put a 351 Ford in it next year. I just started a new car club called the Unwanteds. just a few guys who like old cars going to all the local shindigs together. I drive a 58 Chevy all summer long, I also have a 37 Plymouth coupe that I have had since I was 15. Hope to talk to all of you real soon, I am sure more questions will come up.
