i just ran out of argon what the ha

    i just ran out of argon in my tig. can i use my 75/25 gass from my mig it seems to welding ok help. should i keep going. or just stop i dont want to.

    Dont run 75/25, just wait and get argon... makes the weld weak

  4. Stop. Take a break and get some argon. We could go through a lot of tech talk but just get more argon. Be sure you purge the line when you change back to argon.

    Tig requires and inert gas like argon or helium. CO2 is not an inert gas and will react with the tungsten and create a myraid of issues.

    Just wait and go get a bottle of argon.
