I just got back from The House Of Blues where I went to see Rogger Miret and the Disasters play. Honest to God, that was a rocking good show. They were a tightly wound machine of a band. No skips, no bumps, just straight ahead balls out Rock and Roll. Roger bought my chrome slots and my 3 1965 tri bar Mickey Thompson wheels for me. I got 'em cheap up in NYC at The Runbler's show. There are still a lot of good Hot Rodders that aren't driven by the profit motive, they just want to pass on the good***** to someone who can use it. Our own HAMBer Ray from Colorado was kind enough to sell me a 4th M/T wheel. Now I've got me a set, it's a good feeling. Baby's gonna get new shoes next week. Ray, I promise I'll pass on my good fortune to someone else, the circle MUST remain unbroken. Do yerselves a favor, if'n The Disasters come creeping into your neck of the woods, check 'em out. You won't be sorry, it's not*********, it's not really even Punk Rock, I like to think of it as just plain old Rock'n'Roll. And their speeded up version of 'Career Opportunities' does the ghost of Joe Strummer proud.
They will be in Milwaukee on nov 6. The cheaters will be there in full effect and looking forward to it.
THEY ARE really GOOD,, it;s KINDA like LARS fredrickson, STYLED guitar in rancid with ROGER singing,,, REALLY CATCHY SONGS,,, I WAS AMAZED
