I put the MSD dist. in my flatty..can't seem to get the timing right. What gives? It pings pretty bad right around 50-55mph. No tach, cuz it's kinda a custom, guess I still oughta invest in one...Anyway, anybody messed with the msd electronic distributor in a flatty? (51 8ba if it matters.) thanks!
2 deg. inital, 24 deg. total, it doesn't run hot, just pings..no vacuum advance-it has the springs, and stop bushing set to have it fully advanced by bout 2000 rpm..Does this help?
