not quite done yet, but im kinda proud of them so i cant hold them in till friday. My first attempt at a toilet seat. I realized I hate striping with Salmon Pink more than I hate striping with white!!!!

let me know what you think! The black one isnt done yet and the plexi is for the raffle thingie.

I'm in NJ and am starting up learning striping (gave it my first go tonight, came out so-so). You talking about Bob Reidel's sign place?

  5. Kool stuff, Caffeine! You need to start subscribing to AutoArt and SignCraft magazines. New Jersey is home to some of the baddest Lettering & striping guys around.

Bert ****by, Mike Lavalee, Dr.J Braet, Glen Musenburger, Russ Mowery, just to name a few.

Did ya ever hear of the "Jersey Style"?

Ray, back me up on this!

You won't find better artists ANYWHERE.
We USED TO have the biggest Panel Jam in the World, every year,at Lead East in Persippany NJ.
    You missed it. [IMG]

I think N.Glantz has a place in North Eastern'Jersey. They will have anything you need from 1-Shot.
Look in the Yellow Pages under "sign supplies".

Very nice lines. I like the jet age thing on the white seat..very cool. One little suggestion, though.. mineral spirits work alot better than that sledge for fixing mistakes. [IMG]

    Nah, J/K. Good work though.

By the way, where in the world did the idea of striping and painting all over toliet seats start? [IMG]

  11. Caffine, Theres a few good stripers here in NJ.. You should go to Leadeast car show, theirs about 3-4 of them there.. I live about a mile from bobs signs.. i went down there to get some 000 brushes, and they didnt have ANYTHING!!! Im serious, they looked for 15 minutes for a used one, and they couldnt find ****....

Had to order one from xcailber...

He's not a striper (that I know of), but Joel Naprstek (sp) is a good friend of my grandfathers. I met him at N/SS in 2001. His brother Artie had a bunch to do with Lead East at one point.
