On the other side that car is looking really nice ! I like the way it's coming along and the girls will come out of the woodwork when they see you driving that ride of yours around town so don't worry about the one you just found . There are many , many more where that one came from !

Hey, thanks man, kind words are always appreciated. I hope after work I'll have enough time to get the spears thrown on. I'm figuring three hours per side, but for the over all effect, I think it'll be worth the time. I just need all of the trim thrown on before I can even consider messing with the spears.

    Pix as it gets going.

I actually started something productive, and horrifically time consuming.

That is one side worth of Mercury spears. It doesn't take a genius to put them on, right?

Easy enough, lay out some masking tape, super simple and straightforward.

    About forty minutes later...

That one didn't take as long, but it wasn't easy.

And Done! Well, with the first three holes. I just need to figure exactly how to lay everything out and keep everything looking right.

I'll post more as I do more.

Alright team, update, I've been busy with school and girl stuff, but My car is coming home sometime this week (after we put the trim, quarter spears, and headlights back on), which means if I can flat black the grille opening, and clean the hell out of it, and put the interior back in, I'll be driving it! For a while anyway, and then the transmission comes out of it.

I'll have pics with the trim on come Tuesday. Its looking mighty sharp, if you ask me.

Hey, thanks again for all the kind words! I'll get some pics after cl*** (and after the trim goes on for the final time). So, probably pretty late, but you'll gett'em soon enough. See you guys in about ten hours!

    Did I say tuesday?

    I meant...

probably tomorrow. Dad didn't buy any rubber washers, so I just decided to not work on it tonight, and but the rubber washers, and do it tomorrow, no worries, tomorrow!

I'm only kind of a liar, trim is on, bumpers, grille, and headlights away. I'm waiting on gaskets for the headlights to put those guys on.

Much props to the elder-statesmen in the bottom picture, without him this entire fubar wouldn't have been possible. All of these were taken with my cell phone, thing is NASTY when it comes to photographs.

Thanks gents for all the kind words! More pics as I throw the thing together, after I finish my homework on tuesday, things should get rolling. My ladyfriend will be away all weekend, and I won't have any school work, so that means my car gets all the focus.

Excuse the "twisted" nature of the picture, trying to take a picture with one hand at the back of a garage, tripping over engines, is rough.

If it quits raining tomorrow, I'll snap a few shots. I think I may need to fiddle with the teeth again, but its not a thing worth worrying about right now.

Again, thanks to everyone for the comments!

Twitter is just a social networking thing, its really self-indulgent. Apparently bad at hosting images too. Imagine Facebook without all the nonsense.

Any, more pics today is imagine!
