I lost my Son Cody and my HAMB family needs to hear my thoughts

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

This is tough for me to write but I lost my wife of 33 years, three years ago this past December 5th, no one can imagine the pain and what it is like.
I also will remember the scream forever from my son and daughter when I had to tell them.

Think only good thoughts of him, he is in a much better place, while you will always think of him, it will get easier.
When I think of my wife now I smile knowing she is looking out for me down here and although I miss her so much , I somehow know she is doing well and is very happy in a much better place.
The pain will subside in time, be positive, Cody is doing O.K.

I don't know what to say. I must say I am choked up by this. This is very sad news. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Just read your post and saw your pictures and tears filled my eyes. I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your entire family. Such a tragedy. A mere accident that virtually whisks away all happiness that was once so common. I have a child, only one, and I know what hell you must be going through. I can only hope that nothing this tragic ever befalls us, as I am not sure that I could survive it.

You and your family will be in our prayers.

Your letter brim's with the love you have for your son and your family, you are a very lucky man to have that to carry you thru this time of sorrow.

Sounds like you guys have a wonderful family stay strong. Im sure that he's in a beautiful place with people he loves, watching over all of you. But when the time comes you should build that car in memory of him I might know of a few people who would love to help. Im sorry for you loss

i met you briefly at the rumblers ground hog gala in ormond. i have just gotten the strength to read your post on the loss of your son.
i am sitting here with tears running down my face, wishing that there was something that i could do to make this better for you and your family, thank god that you all did that when cody was still with you. you have a nice family and i'm sure you will get thru this.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Our kids are supposed to out live us. Sometimes God must take the special ones early. I don't know why but someday all will be made clear. Lost a daughter myself, and it's really tough to deal with, but with time you must cope cause you have to help the others he has left behind.

 

words are a bit thin and really dont sooth the soul, but Mama Fiddy and I feel your pain in a very real way.
