go to a heavy truck dealer and buy the truck lite ( signal stat ) they are the best and hold up to a beating . they come either chrome or plain ( there were 4 types ones that the red dots/green window blinked when turning and those that didn't and the finishes , IIRC they dropped them ) , only reason I ever had to replace one is a driver ( 300 + pounds ) tried to use the lever as a point to help him self up and pulled the lever out , never had a problem with one other than abuse ..
