Hi. As much as you like wagons go get it done and end this year a high. Or if it takes a week start next year that way. Good luck with the trade. Jimmie

Look for rust up under the dash at the underside of the cowl panel, especially at the outer ends. These cars tended to plug up the cowl drains and would collect debris and water that entered thru the cowl vent grille at the base of the windshield. If the front floors needed rust repair this might be the reason why.

Happy hunting. These cars are otherwise fairly bulletproof.

Bruce, good luck with the trade, 64 dodge is a good looking wagon.

Frankie 47, camaro bumper is pretty interesting, is there a roll pan behind the factory dodge bumper or do you think they made one. Trying to picture it.

Not a bad looking wagon. Mechanically those are pretty simple and easy to work on. I go along with the seriously check for rust suggestions though. Being as they are uni-body you have to check the substructure real close too.

I think that they are uni-body, if so check to bottom up.

Bruce, I know how much you like wagons so I wish you all the luck in making the trade, that's from one wagon guy to another.

That would make for a fantastic Christmas present for you my friend! HRP

This reminds me of a white with red trim '64 Dodge wagon that belonged to a young lady I knew. Her boyfriend at the time had gotten into trouble with the law so she went to the jail to visit him. Somehow, she managed to lose her keys and left the car at the jail. I went there later to hot wire the car to drive it back. Had to explain to the security guard why I was hot wiring a car at the jail.

Sorry just can't remember, but I think it was on here and not a station wagon but a coupe or sedan.

I'm thinking a hopped up 440/727 combo with rear tires as large as will fit under the wheel wells with black steel rims and poverty hub caps. Guaranteed to surprise an OT racer at the corner of walk and don't walk. But that's JMO. Regardless of how you build it it will be cool. Long roofs rock. Looking forward to photos when you get it home.

  27. Bruce, very cool wagon, I hope it works out well. What does the 64 have for power? V8 or Leaning Tower of Power? Either one would be awesome. Kinda funny, the older I get, the more I appreciate a fine six.
