I must be brain dead

I get a call from a buddy of mine that tells me there's a 57 Olds out behind his house. Tells me it's a little wet, bring boots! Nice friends I have, how about a snorkle and a set of fins.

Seriously though, those look like they're in pretty good shape. Think it's worth it to get them out? Water actually isn't that bad with rusting stuff, it's repeated wetting/drying that really rots metal.

 

Wow. Reminds me of a bulletnose Stude that used to be at Joes in Spring Lake, MI... in the middle of a pond! Hope you could use something off'n it... that was alot of water to wade thru!!!

thanks for the thumbs up. not to many people "approve" of a four door. It was a good solid car for little money. Plus it's more of a challange trying to turn a 4 door into cool ride.

 

Car looks good,always get a****** over those Olds/Buick rear windows.

 

if you want a 57 roof, i'll be more then happy to cut the one off of the 57 sitting in the swamp. it's actually in good shape and all of the stainless is there but some**** whipe broke all of the glass...let me know

One of the members of our club has these sitting out behind his house. The best that we can come up with is that the farmer whos land backs up to his just parked them there 30 years ago....
The place where the cars are at floods every year, and dries out around August.....
