I need a JOB!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Nov 17, 2003.

  1. As a matter of fact, I do have my dream job.
I didn't get it walking in without so much as a hello and an introduction.
As for finding this many jerks in one place, I highly doubt that!

There are thousands of jerks here, and I'm one of them. First off, if there was a good job as a lacky in a shop I'm sure I would be offered it before you since I've been here for years. They know who I am, where I am, and how interested I am. This board is full of enthusiasts, not full of shop owners (there are some hear, but I'm not tellin who they are).

    Game over, please try again.

    PS, I need a job.

This reminds me of the first time I peed in the corner shop when my daddy gave me 6 pence to buy some candy when we were at the laundramat. Yeah dad was a poor jobless immigrant but somehow he became a millionaire. The miracle is he did it without the benefit of a computer message board.

What the fuck's your problem, wheelbarrow?

  6. It pleases me that you will be checking the HAMB off your list of places YOU think is cool.

If you knew anything about this place you would realize why we are giving you such a hard time.

I have a serious suggestion. You like cars and are a carpenter. Get into the car side by building cheap wood kits for early cars. I remember several posts about people looking for them and the outrageous prices some people are asking. There's a way in. You have the experience, and learn about the rest as you go along.

Wow! Anyone with a garage made from wheelbarrows is cool in my book!
What kinda carpenter are you? Rough carpenters (Framers)build houses and most likely wouldn't have the skills or tools required to do wood working to the level required for car bodys. If your a cabinetmaker with the right tools, car kits might be right up your alley!

As for the hazing...what did you expect with NO intro?

I think he's gone by now, but since we're all looking for a job for him, look for one for me too. I too work in construction, for too long, and am tired of it. I don't however wish to start at the bottom. I want to be the boss right away. So, if you find a job where someone is looking for a person to boss them around , I have years of experience making people feel like shit because they don't know everything. PM me if you find something. Oh ya, I'm not very patient, so hurry the fuck up.
