I need a nice antique white paint code.

Chrysler cool vanilla.you see it on current chrysler 300s.

 

I realize this is an old thread, but since it has come back to life, I have another vote for Wimbledon White. Some of the Chrysler off whites are sharp too.

I painted the motor and transmission on my rpu project with Dupont Imron Off White, off of their Fleet Color chart book. It is very close to Wimbledon, with just a creamy coloration to it. Just thought I would mention that in case anyone wants a whitish motor with Imron toughness.

I seen a Wimbledon wht., 64 Ford wgn, with polished Torq Thrusts at a car show. Made an impression on me, so much that I'm painting my 59 that same color. Then a close friend tells me he doesn't like the wht.. so lately I've been second guessing my choice. I've pondered silver, with just the roof cap left wht. I don't know, cos I've already bought the paint.

 

I was going to say Colonial White but Cool57 beat me to it . It may be the same paint code as Wimbledon ...check at the dealer . Ford was notorious for this ...one of their reds had 3 or 4 different names over the years just to confuse everyone .

Tell your friend if he doesn't like the color to be sure he doesn't paint HIS car that shade ! From what I can see in the picture I think it looks great.

His little Plymouth, is nearly the same damn color. That's what kills me.. and thanks for the kind word!

 

My 61 MG midget ( little person?) is an Old English White and same a 56 Pontiac or Packard
