I need a rearend

What rearend do you guys recommend for a 54 chevy car.Im looking for something that already has disc brakes.

Maybe some additional info on how much horsepower you are planning to put through it what trans you have. You can buy custom 9 inch ford units with disc brakes already, you can buy 8.8 ford unit out of a newer explorer, they already have disc brakes.... A lot of options out there....

 

If you want disc and don't want to "trim to fit" a late Explorer or 4X4 blazer are your best bets.
A tape measure and a Pick-A-Part will answer all doubts.

 

Thanks Chubby, I wasn't sure if the blazer had disc or not...

 

1999 and up 4X4 S-10 Blazers have disc brakes.
