Wisdom cares not for what cannot be had but for what can be acheived. The best things in life are free but you can give 'em to the birds and bees. I want money. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, life is a swift kick in the stones. Crap, now I gotta WORK for a living.
I suggest: I'm in my senior year of high school and I'm in need of a senior quote to accompany my picture. I'm not exactly "smart" enough to think of a good one myself. At least they would be your own words.
"No matter where you go, there you are." "If you must drive, take the car." "Do not reverse, severe tire damage."
"We gonna pitch a wang dang doodle.... all night long!" Or if you're into music, a great one from Hound Dog Taylor: "When I die, they'll say 'he couldn't play shit, but he sure made it sound good!"
Hallowed halls my ass a recent favorite, stolen from a HAMBer "I like your sister, but your mom does that thing with her tongue" I told that to a federal judge last night at shop night and I thought he really might shit himself he was laughing so hard, then his wife came in and it got real quiet.... nice to know even federal judges are whipped s.
My favorite quote is,,, "There are two kinds of people in the world,,,,those who don't know and those who don't know they don't know",,,,HRP
"Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true. Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil. Jesus was an architect, previous to his career as a prophet. Soon I found myself in love with the world, so there was only one thing I could do ... was ding-a-ding-dang my dang-along-ling-long."
"Ladies and gentlemen take my advice...pull down your pants and slide on the ice" The parting words of Sydney Friedmen on the final episode of MASH.
i didn't go through all of them so maybe some or all of these have been already stated 1). life sucks... get e fucking helmet 2). Beer.. a porkchop in every bottle 3). i have broken every part of my car at least twice.. and i still want to go faster. thats all for me tom
"Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." - Robert Frost
"You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose.....but you can't wipe your friends on the couch !"
With all due respect, I think that quote really went - 'those who can, do; those who can't, teach'. I had an aunt who was a teacher and hated that line. She had a bumper sticker that read 'if you can read this, thank a teacher'. How about a line from one of Tom Waits' newer songs, Money is the River of the World; 'the higher that the monkey can climb, the more he shows his tail'. Tom is a great writer. Anything from his works would make a great quote. Vance
You need a quote your school will publish. Here are a few from Albert Einstein: Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity and I am not too sure about the former. It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Try not to become a man of success, but a man of value.
The Reverend horton Heat said "There are 2 things you learn from school.#1 Don't throw things at Big guys. #2 DON'T WASTE BEER!!" (This was immediately after Jimbo beat the crap out of a frat boy for throwing a beer at him.) I figure it's pretty much universal.
Here the one I used 21 years ago; "If ever asked: What's more useful, the sun or the moon, respond: The moon. For the sun only shines during daytime, when it's light anyway, whereas the Moon shines at night." -Kosmo Prutkov
Time sure changes your perspective. I remember seeing a lot of the same quotes in my yearbook. What seems funny at 18, looks like an assclown at age 53...... Kind of like 40 year old tatoos, they fade and look stupid.
When I'm too damn old to sit a horse, I'll steal the warden's car Break my ass out of this prison, leave my teeth there in a jar You don't need no teeth for kissin' gals or smokin' cheap cigars I'll sleep with one eye open, 'neath God's celestial stars - Tom Russel Death may be the greatest of all human blessings - Socrates The only good is knowledge, the only evil is ignorance - Socrates An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. Benjamin Franklin
one of my friends used : "Never judge a man till you have walked a mile in his shoes, then, who cares, your a mile away and you have his shoes" another friend used: "It's all the same in the dark"
hahaha...how about: That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age. Bryan
