I need a water pump!!

hey guys i need a water pump for a 48 ford 6 cyl. i think its a "H" series engine. ive tried all the suppliers with no luck. if anybody knows of a supplier off the beatin path or a rebuilder that would be great. i picked up a NOS kit but everything was petrified

Everyone I know has had to turn to eBay to find a good core or one that's in decent shape. As many of the 6'ers as are still around and running, I don't know why someone doesn't repro them.

 

Try Skip Haney in Florida....he advertises on the Ford Barn.....there's also that guy in Glendora.....can't remember his name....I have it at work, can post it tomorrow.....

I think I have a rebuilt one in my collection.

 

I've got one for a truck with the longer snout if interested. I also know where there are two still in the cars in a junkyard north of me.

 

i have the one that was on the car, just cant find a rebuild kit for it or a new one thats already been rebuilt. the kit that i picked up for it was all dried out. how much you want for the rebuilt one rob?????

 

I did a online search @ NAPA Auto parts and they list one ( rebuilt ) for $129

I have found NAPA to have a LOT of older Ford mechanical parts.
