I need advice on using HAMB

Yeah i'm newbie. How do you make a friends list. Is there a way to keep up with threads you have posted on without having to search through the list? How do i send messages to specific people. Just an overview on how to take advantage of this program would be great. Thanks.

 

yeah in that search do-hicky ( fourth from the end )type in your screen name and click show post.

 

Under Thread Tools, subscribe to the threads you care about.

To send a PM you can click on their name and select from the list or type their name into the search and follow through.

Welcome to the HAMB. Also, when doing a search, you need more than 3 letters or it won't find it.

 

Yust click "Manage your account" on the upper left and it will show you all new posts on threads you also replied to...

 

If you go to manage account all of your subscribed threads will be on the first page, if nothing shows up click on "show all subscribed threads". You can subscribe by either posting, or at the top of each thread is "thread tools" where you can select "subscribe to thread"

Oh, and this probably should have gone in the questions and suggestions forum.

 

to make a friends list click on the screen name of the person then "view public profile" there will then be a "add to friends" on the right and click on that.

for a specific search, let's say sand blasting, put "sand blasting" in quotes. Else you will get every thread that has the word sand or blasting in it.
