I need everyones personal opinion

For most of you know, I have a '53 chevy 2 door. I recently picked up a '54 chevy 2 door. Which front end looks better? I have the grilles, bumpers, and both front fenders for each setup...actually the 54 fenders are in a little better shape but i can fix my '53 fenders. Lets hear your opinion!

I personally like the 54, but you know about opinions.

i was personally thinking the 54 myself but sometimes when i get to thinkin......watch out. lol! I'll have to get pics of my cars up here. the '54 isnt too nice but my '53 isnt bad. my ol'man is just finishing up his 46 dodge 3 window business coupe on a 86 chevy caprice frame..looks pretty good. Thanks for your input guys!

Kinda like "what's my favorite color?" You need to decide. Are you gonna get on here in a week and say"what color do I paint it?". Come on! Who picked out your shoes this morning?

 

I know - you could keep the 54 teeth and put them in the 53, then you could cut out and sell the 54 surround to little ol' me.

Having a 54 of course that would be my first thought....then I would go with which ever one was in better condition. Both look good.

My 2 cents...54 with a few extra teeth. And fitty-four taillights too. But I'm partial to those since I grew with my Dad's daily driver 54 ragtop. If it had any custom stuff on it you coulda called it a rat rod, but its just a rat.

 

My opinion is you should build what you like best or take a load off
and ship it to me and I'll build what I like best

I vote 54 also, but my parents had a 54 when I was a kid.

Um, the 53 looks WAY better. So you need to send me the 54 so I can "dispose" of it properly!

 

They both can and do look good..
I have a 53 myself but alway's liked the look of the 54...
My own thought would be to keep the 53 front.. They can look damn good too with the right grill treatment..Plus, the car's a 53 anyway and if it's not a radical style custom why not show its a 53.

I like both, but I would choose the 54.

 

I prefer the '54 front end, but I'd be too lazy to change it all over.

 

If your planning on keeping whichever one you choose all stock, I say go with the '54. If however, you want to do a little customizing, go with the '53. Molded headlights, shaved hood, stock de-bolted front bumper along with a molded grill shell combined with a custom grill insert can look like pure ***.

personally I'd go with the 54... I like the parking lights better than the round ones..I've had a 54 post obsession for years now...
