i have a 64 ford f250. i am trying to get it more driveable and low at the same time. what is the difference between the f250 and the f100 frame? any thing will help here thanks
Hubs, drums and backing plates off an F100 will fit the front, a rear end swap will fix the other end. I did it on my Uni 250.
If you're asking if the "track width" is the same, best bet is to get your tape out and measure hub to hub. the suspension is completely different as your 250 has either a solid axle or I beams. A later f150 would be more suitable if you have I beams. Ideally, a solid axle is the way to go if you're lowering it, and a steering stabilizer will get the bumpsteer down significantly. If memory serves, crown vics have a control arm setup and if you want to swap it in you're gonna have a job ahead of you. I wouldn't bother, but thats just my $.02
