   HI CAN ANY BODY HELP ME MY 1940 FORD FLATHEAD HAS SPARK THEN IT DOESN'T. I CHANGED EVERTHING REBUILT DIS, NEW COIL ADAPTER KIT NEW RESISTOR ,POINTS ,ROTOR ,CAPS IT STARTS RUN GREAT I GO FOR A DRIVE COME BACK SHUT IT OFF TRY TO RESTART NO SPARK

   Ignition switch. Try byp***ing the switch, jumper battery voltage directly to the resistor.
