  4. Woah! Love it. Just lose that front fender, buy a repop rear to bob, and keep on riding it. Beauriful!

This one still has to go under the knife, but I'm having too much fun to bob it just now...

  7. The term "bobber" refers to...? bobbed fender(s)? Is that it? What's the difference between bobber and chopper?

I've always thought of bobbers as bikes with all the nonesentials striped away, and choppers as bikes with modified frame geometry (raked and stretched).

  11. I'm w/ ya. Although, stuff gets weird when you're building from an aftermarket frame w/ rake built in. Oh well...call it what you want.

  14. Sam... How's the progress on the bike lately? or are you spending more time on the 4 wheelers lately...

  15. I have a '65 Chevy pickup that I am doing for a customer... last summer I was supposed to build the truck... but built the BFD instead... then I found myself mocking up and cutting up my bob'... and said "STOP THE INSANITY!!!"

So I put it up in the rafters... I get side tracked easily. [IMG]

So, when the truck is DONE... I'll get the bobber back out and start building.

    Sam.

Geez, how deep did you have to dig for this old thread? The post before yours is over three years old.

I ride this to work daily, a few weeks ago I finished it after 2 years of riding it unfinished. I added the fin on the rear fender. Finally finished!!!

  24. I like the beefy look of your Sporty. I like the big Dog squisher you got up front. I have an 82 Sturgis and installed a Wide Glide front with a 16" rear Sturgis rim on the front. Didnt like the narrow glide and 19" much. Love the look of yours.
