Anyone have a good chrome guy? The big shop here in Denver is 2 months out, and seems to me to be on the high end of price.

Wanting to get my latch handles for my unibody tailgate done. They're allready blasted to bare metal, and apart as much as they can be, just need some shiny stuff applied.

Who is good and faster than 2 months?

Any price you get from anyone is going to seem high, chrome is outragous anymore.

I had pieces done by Chromeplaterjosh, a HAMBER, and have been very pleased. Send your stuff to a car guy -not just a plater.

You've got a couple Mexicans across the street that pretty handy with a spray can. That's cheap they might even cook ya up tamale or two.

Been years since we have had a decent chrome shop here so I have to send my stuff out of town. Might be just as well the "big" shop in Denver is too busy, I've tried them, personally have never been inpressed with anything that came from there, some just ok, some of it been so bad I wouldn't put it on the car, nothing worth the money they charge.
Started sending my stuff the other direction, been using Electoplating in El Paso and been super happy with it all, quality, price, turn around time. Helps too I have a way of getting my stuff down and back without paying shipping. Judging by his reputation on here if I did have to pay shipping I'd give Josh a try.

I'll second or third or fifth Chromeplaterjosh! Excellent work! I sent him a pile of stuff and told him I didn't need it Ridler quality, but he did a fantastic job! Should be getting another load back from him in the next week or two also.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys!

2 months turnaround isn't really all that long, but a rush job can be done in as little as 1 week guaranteed. Our shop hasn't been under 2 months turnaround in roughly 2 years with no signs of slowing, no doubt thanks to the HAMB.

Rush order for a turnaround in as little as 1 week is available, based on percentage of typical cost, and is a minimum $50 charge. We need to physically inspect the parts before giving actual cost, but an estimate can be made via descriptive Email photos.

It sounds like the hinges are already stripped, that will save about 10%. At minimum They still need to be sanded, coppered, copper buffed, nickeled, and chromed.
