I got a lead on 2 model A's , I don't know if they are coupes or what, the guy who wants to sell me the cars does not know or care what body style they are. I will see them in a few days.
he says his dad owns them and wants them gone.

" you have to take all of it " he says. music to my ears !

I like customs myself, I want to buy these to re-sell and make some money on the deal but I don't know what the tin is worth.
are "A" frames worth any thing?
do I only want the bodies?
    what sells?
there sould be two cars, two extra frames, and four motors, plus a bunch of other "crap" all "A" parts

I want to roll this at a profit but I don't need to make a killing, just fair.
I hope to have some pic.s soon.

    thanks!

hmm im no help other then $100 for a good frame seems to be about the norm

  3. Take as much as you can haul and store. They are not making any more of the old stuff. It all has a value.

  4. I'm no expert, and prices are all over the map... I've seen cowls for 50 bucks, and others for 250+...doors seem to get good$, depends on what the stuff is, hopefully you just fell into a goldmine! Whatever it is, if you can either double your money fast or get a car or the parts you want for free, after selling the stuff you dont need, you did ok.
I'd be in line for a frame or a roller...

Buy it and put it on Epay. The euro is real good for the guys across the water and the are buying up lots of hotrod stuff (I have sold a bunch of stuff on Epay to the Euro's).

Around here, I have seen tudors go for about $1,500, coupes for about $3,000, trucks for around $750. These were all very solid and decently straight bodies without frames. There was a very beat up and rusty roadster body at a swap I think last year that they wanted something around $4,000 for.
