Trying to find the original owner/builder of this '36. We have it's history back to the previous owner from 1960-2001. That was a David Cristensen from Hesperia California who worked for Atlas Truck and Salvage, who is deceased. We think the lacquer paint, pinstriping, trim, and T-Bird engine are all original back to 1957 or perhaps 1958. We would really appreciate any assistance if you recognize the car, or the work done to it. We feel the work was probably done in the Los Angeles area.Thanks...

Great looking car. Dump the fuzzy dice though.

Did I say it was a great looking car?

    I like it.
    Sorry no info.

Wow, pretty incredible... especially if it is a true survivor throughout the past 50 years!

It is indeed a true survivor. Still has the original mechanical brakes...

Whoever built the car originally had great vision & restraint...this car is timeless, I'm sure there is a good story behind it.

I'm amazed that anyone put that much work into building the car, subsequent owners kept it honest to its original 'hot rod' look, yet nobody bothered to spend a weekend swapping over to hydraulics?

Sorry I can't help you find the owner...it is a fine looking coupe and a great 'heritage' hot rod.
