Some relationships are better than others, and you might be surprised to realize that many a man and wife share in most all decision-making...including interior decor. Any married couple who is obviously this in-touch with each other's interests will have no difficulty or issues with this type of thing. I'm quite sure that T.L.'s man will more than appreciate the effort...even if you wouldn't. There is more involved here than the particular choice of items...the bottom-line, is that it's an expression of love and devotion and self-sacrifice. Anyone who would resent the type of effort she's making here probably doesn't comprehend that sentiment. You go, Texas Lady! LOL.

My wife, god love her, painted one of our bathrooms flaming yellow and the bedroom dark brown (including the ceiling). I told her that it looks great (It does not). Still, if she suprised me with a flaming yellow and dark brown garage room makover I'd really like the fact that she went out of her way to try. :)

To Texaslady, If you are wanting some old photos for your husband's garage, go to a thread ***led "Vintage shots from days gone by". Pick out the photo you want and right click your mouse 2 times on that photo. It will show a list of options and one will be "save photo as". Just left click that choice and it will save the photo to a file in your picture files. Make sure you double click or it may download the whole file of pictures that are on that thread. Hope this helps you some.
