...the kind you drive. I need some pictures and testamonials of your steering setups with F-100 and early ford boxes. I'm just trying to get mine figured out, any pics of suggestions would be great, thanks.

32 ford box, funny home made mount, scary at speed until you get the hang of it. [IMG]

Cool thanks, why the funny mount instead of going through the frame?

    On a related note - anybody use fat-fender cross-steering on a Model T?

With the channel and headers there was no room for the box inside the framerail. When I found the car it had a incredibly wimpy sheet metal box as a mount. I wanted to keep the car true to the original engineering but make something that would be safe and work. I plan on changing to an F-1 box in the near future. Before Bonneville anyway.

Here is a pic of my modified steering with a 59 F-100 box. Works real nice and no bumpsteer problems. The pic is from in the construction stage, but it's finished now. The pitman arm has the large pinch bolt at the top. I did bend the pitman arm out a little for extra clearance from the frame rail.

    34Fordtk,
My adapter has the mark Allied Mfg. on it. I don't know who sold it but I am pretty sure that Vern has repoductions of it now.
