i bought one from eastwood last year, it works o.k. but i'm not sure the angle matches the chinese unions you can buy. since i had to tighen the fittings way, way more than i thought i should of , to stop the leaks.

How much does the Mastercool unit cost? Do you buy direct from them? I couldn't find a price on the site.

    IIRC,
45 is the standard flare for brakes and fuel.
37 is for the AN and stainless stuff.

EDIT: Go to the mastercool link and it explains that.
Since they don't have a price, I just typed in the name and number of the master kit and got this...

Bought mine from Eastwood -- Item #25304 -- and it's currently priced at $197.99. Does both 37 (single) and 45 (double) flares on 4.45mm, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 line. I absolutely love it. A friend came by and did a couple of flares just to "test". Since he's beginning a brake job, I offered to loan it to him. He said, "No, I want one of my own." Can't recommend it highly enough. Eastwood is just the vendor ... the tool itself (in a nice case) is made in Europe someplace.
