    if it's in decent working condtion and the converter is with it, I'd guess it's a good price

    $140 for a buildable core aint too bad. If it's a runner, it's a good price.

    Very simple transmissions. Easily rebuilt for not a lot of $$$.
     
  4. 64-66 C4's were also known as the Dual Range due to thier strange gear selection. There was Lo, which held first gear, there was Green Dot which started in 2nd gear! and then there was drive. This was dropped in 67.
    Make sure it's the one youwant.
    $140.00 is probably OK for a good working trans but I'd always offer less up front :D

    i have another qustion that i need answered, Alright so i was told that a C4 form a 72-or 74 will fit onto a 1966 289 if it has the correct torque converter and flex plate is the correct or am i just wasteing my time?
