Is it a go-kart with a body over it?

[IMG] Its a Microstock. 8' bumper to bumper, 5HP Briggs flathead and lots of fun.

When I was a kid a 3/4 midget crashed and the driver got out. I kept elbowing my Dad and saying "hey that guy aint a midget!".

This is one of the most retro and owned by the guy who first invented the Microstock concept. It flipped at an indoor race at AC. This passed Jan.

More like a riding lawnmower with a body on it.! :D

Looks like it's fun as hell!

A couple years ago I was looking at riding mowers at Home Depot thinking how much I didn't need one for my less than 3000 sq ft patch of lawn and I dreamed up "Racing Lawnmowers!"
Then I googled them and found out them good ole boys in the South East had benn raacing them for years...

That looks awesome. Baker theatre is a 2 minute bike ride from my house. Any idea where the old track used to be?

    This is from njrn.com.

    Dover Speedway - Dover, NJ

    1/2-mile dirt oval
    (6/11/33 to 1935, 7/4/47 to 1952 and 6/12/54 to 7/10/54)

Located on US 46 (on the East side of town, next to the Dover Tank & Stack
    Company).

Microstocks never raced there. But, they did get there start at Pine Brook Speedway (now a Home Depot)

Huh, that's gotta be back behind the blockbuster. Only place I can think of that'd fit all that. I knew that big empty lot on 46 too. The scrap yard is on the other side. Never knew what it was.
