May have located a couple opportunities for a decklid fairly local. So, pretty sure we may have Chris covered on a replacement one way or the other.

This pic brought up a memory for me. Back in the day 69/70 I had a 64 Impala SS 327, 4 speed car, a very nice car. A friend Crazy Dave that always seemed to get me in trouble, I stopped hanging out with him after several adventures, I can get myself into enough stuff, help not needed, Him and I were like Dumb and Dumber. I'm cruising north and see him going west on his new Triumph cycle at the stop sign, I turn right to BS with him, He was telling me how fast it was and shows me a burnout haul *** launch, hits a steel manhole cover and he's down, I jump out to see if he's OK, He yells to me, John your car, I turn around in time to see my car rolling down slight incline into a tree. Within a minute 2 unmarked cop cars are there, then sires wailing as more approach. WTF Turns out the Mayer of Milwaukee's house was within sight of this intersection and had a protection detail on his house. Dave's Ok goes to hospital for check up and to jail again, always a revoked Driver license. The Officer, watched it all start to finish, a nice man. a car guy BS'n with me, felt bad for me as my car was slightly damaged, not bad, easy fix, he had me talk to the home owner, very slight scuff on her tree, she said, no problem. What an event, the neighborhood came out to see what's happening, even a fire truck showed up, flatbed to haul the bike away. He did look at my Drivers license, wrote my name/address down, we talked a while, he released me and I left thinking what's going to happen when he fills out his paperwork, checks and finds out my license is suspended. My Lucky Star watched over me again or the officer cut me a break, I never heard anything from this "Event" The HAMB, AM Coffee, as good as it gets.

 

When you see something like that we could do with something like a caring ****on.

 

I’m thinking a continental tire kit will hide the boo boo .
