  13. So is the rear independent suspension? The right rear just looks at one hell of an angle to me. Good to see it back on the road, how-be-it a wet one at that.

    I now know more about corvairs than I ever really cared to know lol. Trust me corvair guys are a weird lot, but are very loyal to the brand......and never get one started on ralph nader. I just wanted a 60's van to drive daily for the business(50,000 miles last year) this one was solid, and for the right price. test drove it 7 miles then drove it home 400, and we have been on the road together ever since

    yep its broke. but it looks great with those wheels and a big drop, until you figure out what rear pressure to run, keep an eye on those tires. you might find yourself wearing out a set until you get it at the right height for the long drives...

    I had the pressures figured out before I even hit the road I do keep it alot lower at ride height than it was before
