While I was shooting the orange car I took a tour of the owners garages, and he is actually quite the bug nut.

They built this three door, mid engine, pro street out of a bus and spare parts

THen in the next building I found this Notch, and had to shoot it. It was one of the coolest cars on my road trip

I then drove up to Louisville to attend the hot rod show Beatersville.

My buddy Brian and I hit up the poor boys BBQ

Then hit up walmart the night before the show when Jody and Jake showed up from Michigan

Then went to a really cool spot to shoot Jodys car after he won beater of the year

.....also took a couple snaps of Brians daughter with his almost finished Bus

...and the best Import bike of the show

    GoodByes always suck

I then drove to St.Louis to shoot a couple of minitrucks, and pick up my new wheels. Then stopped at my buddy Ricks shop in Cape Girardeau to get my wheels mounted and balanced. He had this killer ute for sale if anyone wants one

a quick gas stop with the new wheels in hayti Mo

You'll get no complaint from me. I haven't been able to get out on the open road in a very long time. This is helping me get to the point when I can get back out there.

  12. OK JOhn, here's where I start pleading with you bud. You need to put the shiney Supremes back on man, those other wheels are kool, but they just don't do it justice....Don't be mad at me, I'll buy you a beer in Detroit at the hotel bar where it all happens this winter ha,ha,.....

  13. Excellent shots, really dig the van too.
The Big Oak Garage makes it easy on photographers....or at least I would think it would be easy to shoot the worlds straightest hot rods.
