I did not know you could do that. Makes sense. I will do that when I install my temp gauges. I am going to run duel mechanical gauges, just for fun.
Ya, it seems that most newer gauges have both. I don't like it having the metric on there. I will probably change it out later. Right now I am layed off due to the virus and no money and lots of time so I am using what ever I have to move forward, as long as I can unbolt it later. Same kind of story with the cable gas pedal. It does not match what I am doing, but I can unbolt and it works for now. Once I get some brakes, I will be able to drive around the block. I am close to having everything I deed to build up the brakes. So that 1st little drive is really in sight. That is incredibly motivating.
I forgot to mention this was the 1st time in 65 years this car moved under it's own power. Last time 1955.

Well done, Doug, that's a real achievement. Here's a tip: Hold your phone sideways when filming. It fits Youtubes format better. And you need to say it's not made for kids. I think this enables comments (unless you've turned them off) Well done, though. You'd never have thought it from the "before" pics. Mart.

That one will be a ways out. I still have a lot to do on this one. I need to rebuild the doors, get glass all around. Right now the carb needs gone through and I need to get brakes on the rear end. Lots to do. Sure is fun being able to gimp around in it and work out he little bugs. Thank God so far all the big important stuff is working as t should.
