As Tex***peed said, the big truck frame will make a great hot rod frame. Its a bit heaver than a standard '32 frame so there is no need to box it, just cut it off at the rear and add a rear crossmember.

Cool find! I was planning on driving out on some back roads I haven't been on this weekend, so hopefully I have a good find as well.

The doors are identical all 3 years. HRP

  5. Good for you!
    Nice save.
I am a bit partial to '32-34 Ford trucks though. :)

I';d keep the frame or cut the numbered part out of it to register the truck and get a ***le for it.
And as far as doors? I've had 32s and 33s and never noticed any difference in doors. The main difference is the unboltable firewall in a 32 cab and the stamped bead that runs across the cab,s top just behind the visor on 33-34s. 32s were flat here with no bead.

Definatly keep both ends of the frame and the SERIAL # intact! Do not cut the # off of the frame.

The frame cn be shortened and welded incon****iously and new suspension added as necc.
If the serial numbers were welded onto another frame and was detected, there would be all kinds of **** on your shoes. In some states, that is an automatic trip to the crusher by law!

  9. Early .32 cabs did not have the bead later 32 cabs had the bead I have 32 trucks that some have and some dont.
