ANother thing why I don't enjoy driving the car, it IS a boat, I curse people trying to maneuver their SUV's around in parking lots up there lookin all skeer their gonna put a ding in their big baby...

My thoughts are "Well if ya can't handle driving something that goddamn huge, you shouldn't have it!!!"

Then I get into the 20ft long, 2.8 ton, un-assisted steering battlestar and I think.... "DOH!!!"

But I also think back to the time some dumbass talking on his cell phone almost ran me off the road in my copper truck... I swerved hard to get out of his fool ass way...

had I been in that caddillac, I woulda full -on gunned it and tipped that fucker over.....


Speaking of, heres a good story of the last adventure I had driving it last week....

I'm coming back from napa parts in it, cause they gave me the wrong starter for my truck,and I'm coming home with the right one. on Victory heading back into burbank... between vineland and Skankershim, I'm in the left line driving alongside the center yellow, RIGHT along the line, cause its so Ffin wide...

I don't know WTF this broad on crack in an old rx7 is doing, but she majorly peels and guns it out of a sidestreet on the far side, starts coming down towards me the opposite direction, to the turn lane that runs right next to the center yellow on her side.

Well, traffic in front of her is stopping, (remember, she's going the opposite way) so she has to nail the brakes, she fishtails it across the line, And I totally think I'm gonna cream her, but I dont swerve, cause I think theres a car on my other side... so I say "I am invinceable inside this monster!" just put both hands on the wheel, and point it straight down the road, I see her eyes go as wide as saucers, somehow she straightens it out in time, theres like a hairs distance between our sideviews, and the priceless part, as the tire smoke comes pouring in, she exclaims as our windows pass each other:

jeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEZzzzzusssssss! (doppler effect)

I must rebuild it as a road warrior... toothy grill, spikes, etc.

I made the mistake of letting the previous owner of the 240Z I cut up see it in pieces...I'd hate to see a grown man cry and wail like a "girl".

You could fix the dents/ surface rust and flat blk it! Even the 60's boats look cool flat blk IMHO.

Is that a Calais? I've seen plenty 2drs, but not many with that roof line/quarter window. I'd like to have it, but I don't have the time/money for it. Please don't kill it off... i'm sure someone somewhere would like to have it...

 

No, it isn't the calais, it had a vinyl top, underneath of which there was a lot of rust, so someone tore "most" of it off, and bondo'd over the rest, I mean, rust. And over some vinyl.

Hmm, don't tempt me with the black primer!

As soon as I'm done being hungover Ima go to the junkyard today and look for a rad.
