Wasn't there a coupe being built for Bonneville? Hmmm.

One of the good ones & I wish that his posts were saved from his rants......my favorite was "The scent of a Woman"........and yes I did SNEAK in under (?) the radar from GERM........and the best thing meeting him on the salt in 2002.........was BobK wanting to give him some PBR swag and we told him to hop in the back of the rental car & he thought that BobK was going to kick his back side.

Oh yea, the photo is from Buick59/Mike Harrington.

I had the sound track on 8 track and never saw the movie until a couple of years ago. I did it and didn't know I was doing it. :D

Gonna be nice to watch the '38 transform. A damned nice coupe becomming a damned nice coupe, now that is old school.

    Ryan,
Can you post a pic of the suspension (it was a MII wasn't it?) before it was cut out? Im looking at the frame pictures before and after clean-up and I cannt really tell the old weld seams were. Im interested in how they were cleaned up so well.

    Thank you.

So are you splitting the bones? Of course you are.

It's not trad without lox inner tubes and cream cheese whitewalls.

BTW when will you have an app that works on Android?

Germ will be back once he finds the check he got for selling the CIVIL RIGHTS CRUISER to some VINTAGE *** in JAPAN, then he'll check out of the methadone clinic and go to the public library and check in on all of us I'm sure.

    Buwhahahahahahahahahahahahha! That bagel is awesome!

Thanks for the picts. That explains why where are no weld lines on top of the frame rail where the top hats usually are.

I need to pick some brains (a later post perhaps) about the suspension questions, specifically the monetary aspects of changing over from MII to solid front axel.....however I'm not hijacking this post though.

Reason is, I have a Solid axel under of of my cars and a MII under the other and am happy with how both rides, but the MII requires a recess in the fenders and am unhappy with that. Thus I am considering changing to a solid axel.

The picts are the two cars in my concern.

I did it when I was 18. Note the blocks the upper control arms are mounted to? I did that to get it lower... It sounds nuts, but the geometry worked out and it rode great.

Water under the bridge I guess...

    I see were your going
Its going to be crazy low with that flat little model style cross member.

Why not go with a 35 - 6 wishbone and the better 32 - 36 axle while your at it?

Nah, too obvious, how about "Bacillus Banger"? A bit more obscure...
