boy i bet that got your attention lol. not me but my ride. ive got a 53 ranchwagon that is almost diggin in the pavement.i want , no i need to get it up.id love to put a chrome straight axle under it but im workin on way to many projects right now to spend the money for it.so i have a mustang 2 front end on it with a 383 stroker for the engine. what i need to know is if anyone can point me in a direction for a tall heavy coil spring that i can get under it.i really want to get it up high but i got no idea what kind of spring to try..ive borrowed a spring book from oreillys auto parts but i dont know about compressing the springs enough to get into place.i know what i want but i dont know how to get there lol

eaton springs makes a replacement spring for what your looking for. just put a pair on mine and so far am happy with them. still waiting for them to settle some, but it seems to holding well. i need to get wife, kids and myself with full fuel and get a better weight ticket than i did with just me and a 1/4 tank of gas. might need to step up to the next higher spring rate, but again, so far so good.

sorry, i read it wrong. i thought you were taking the m2 out for a straight axle. well one thing . if its has droped spindles put stockers in it. might search and see if anyone makes raised spindles like they used to for the tri 5 chevys.
