That is what happens when the paint shop calls for a decision on paint schemes and you are in the middle of a bottle of Mesquell, ate the worm,shot up a spoon full of heroin and Pro wrestling is on the TV. As stated early in post " Nice car..... Bad Decisions"

A long time ago I started a post about this sort of thing that pissed some people off...if ever an example of what I was talking about existed, this is it.

Take that car back to the two colors and lose the flames and the art...pretty cool.

As it is...ugghhh.

God I hate stuff like this.

It just needs a half naked barbarian woman warrior and jesus added to it and it would be perfect.

 

I think we need to wrestle over another paint scheme...no wrestlers or bullet holes...sweet lookin car though

 

I'll bet you a Charleston Chew that this car was built by one person, then the paintjob was added by a new owner or customer. I agree that the custom work was well done and the paint job sucks.

This has been compared to some of the lowrider murals that are out there but I beg to differ. The good lowrider murals have some amazing detail and many have a real deep meaning to the owner. This looks like those stick-on decals that they make for the sides of delivery trucks so they can peel them off when a new product comes around. No good muralist would let someone use 10 cent bullet hole stickers with their artwork.

 

What, no love for the Iron Sheik? It would have ruled if he painted Koko B Ware and Captain Lou Albano on the trunk instead.

 

I emailed it to Stevie Wonder, he doesn't like it either.

 

Yes. Anthony Castoneda (Shifter) started it for--drum roll please--a professional wrestler (can't think of which assoc he's in, but he did that goofy episode of MG with the U-Haul wrestling mobile). His dad, El Jefe, had a few cars done by Anthony and Marky, and this was the first for his son. He's about 7-foot tall, all muscle, and could probably beat the livin life out of each and every ones of ya at once, but he wouldn't. He's cool as hell. Doesn't mean he's got the best taste in graphics, but it's his car, right? Oh, and I have no idea who painted, butt...

Well, apparently they've elected a new president of the MORE MONEY THAN BRAINS club. The guy who paid to have this painted must be the new prez.

As for the bullet holes… Can someone explain to me why anyone would want others to think that they were being shot at? Is this something to help portray they're 'badboy' image? If so, make the commitment and REALLY shot your damn car. Now that would impress me. Otherwise, they might as well line up the crying dolls across your front bumper too. That's something else that must be WAY over my head, cuz I just don't get that crap either.

Love the car, hate the paint.

 

It has some cool elements, maybe it was too easy for me to overlook the paint and actually look at the car. To me, paint is a very personal decision. If the owner likes it, it is his car.

Overall, great stuff .................... but I'm with the others, I think the paint sucks!

BTW, how ya doin' Dave? I see more names that I know around here every day!
