i want your advice..

    i dont know if you seen the shifter in my 56 or not if not i can post a pic...
    what im wanting your advice on is if i should leave it bare metal or chrome plate it or copper plate it... im just not sure what to do so thanksfor your help...

    Chrome even better.

    i was plannig on not painting the truck at all or flat green of the same color... with a white bench seat.. black faced gauges... and not to much chrome anywher else

    Industrial Grey or crhome, or red on the flats and silver in the middle and around the holes. or blackand silver or Chrome and Red or black

    i turnned that one out in about 2hrs with a couple holes a lil off but hey i was in a hurry... thanks for the advice everyone but im still open for suggestions..

    Put lights in the whole different colors that Blink of and on, then cover them with Plastic. Ist gear they should all turn green 2 nd gear they turn yellow 3 rd gear they should all turn red.

    Chrome would be kool contrast, with the unpainted or flat green and look good with a white seat...jmho
     
  13. I hate chrome, mostly cause i cant afford it. Nice paint is a good sus***ute and in fact often looks better. Nice design by the way. very creative. I like it

    chrome is sweet on the right piece, and on the right car... but that thing looks good as is IMHO.

    now on the other hand, chrome the center drilled portion of the beam, and paint the outside rails to match the car... sweet as well.

    electroless nickle,will not scratch or tarnesh and you dont have to polish

    oyeah.. for any of you that cant stomach that steering wheel i put on a 54 chevy wheel and i looks alot better

    Do just the opposite of Fiddy's post. Chrome the rails and paint the insert. Actually you would have to chome the whole thing and then paint the inside rib.
