I like the chrome wheels but what really matters is (what do you like!)Screw what everyone else thinks ,its your ride ,run what you like. Also if you like 4 doors there is nothing wrong with that.At least you have a cool old car to cruz no matter how many doors.
Boy this one got off on the wrong side. I like the mags and the chromes. I'd keep em both and trade em back and forth if it was my ride. More and more 4 doors are showing up at shows now days because the 2 doors are getting harder and more expensive to find. I used to be a 4 door hater but having been out of the country for about 15 years I've been pleasantly suprised to see more 4 doors at car shows then there used to be. They're cool at the cruises in the evenings at the bigger shows. You see them cruising through the hotel parking lots with every seat full and most of the 4 doors that have been rodded or restored are low and look pretty darn good. To each his own and if I couldn't find a 2 door 54 Chevy I'd be just as happy to grab up a 4 door. All depends on each persons passion and $ they want to spend. My first car was a 4 door 59 Chevy station wagon. I put chromes on it with skinny whitewalls and baby moons. Wouldn't mind having that one again for the shows and cruises.
Since you have both sets of Wheels you could run Mags on One Side and Chromes on the other side? Nobody can see both side of the car at the same time and you will hve 2 spare wheels of each type if you ding one? As an added feature nobody will Steal your wheels?
