    My '69 Suburban used to be an ambulance. Never knew it when I bought it, as it had been redone to a regular truck, but I removed the headliner and found where the emergency lights had been on the roof.

    here's my long term project......the wheels will change eventually but concentrating on the structure first.....still running the original 390, bagged all round...working with norm at vintage metal to tub the rear so that i can drag tail....hopefully it'll get a try power set up and astros soon.

    That '59 Dodge reminds me of my Dad's '59 Dodge wagon. Black with white roof, total stripper, no radio, no PS, no PB, no options except a 361 CI "B" engine, with 3-speed column shift. Had a lot of fun with that car. Made MoPar believers out of a lot of Ford & Chevy guys. He finally traded it in for a new '64 Dart slant 6, but by then I had my own car and didn't care.

    I have a 53 Chevy that I am working on. Talk about a lead sled, there is plenty of lead on this car.
