i thought i had these bendix dated to 53-58 f100 but somone told me they looked like his 50 f2. what are they and are they any good?
stamped numbers are 48952 if that is of any use at all.

next im wanting to mate up my 28-48 spindals to my 40s brakes that came off a rear axle so i have no hubs other than the hubs that came with the f100 backers. has anyone had any luck doing this? i found this at speedway bu i cant help from think i can pick up a set of bearings cheaper than that.

My understanding is that the backing plates were the same from 48-56 or so. That is a drivers side. The hubs and drums changed but the backers did not.

Use F-1 or F-100 hubs. The drums are different. The F-100 drums are easier to get new. I have been told the F-1 drums are now available. If I can find it, I will post a comparison of F-1 and F-100 hubs
