I guess this is a barn find, at least its next to whats left of one. I thought i was going to look at a 39 ford when i got there i found a chevy? Cabs beat (part of the barn fell on it), doors, fenders, hood, headlights are all perfect... Can anyone shed some light on exactly what year it is? I'm thinking 42ish? Also i'm ***uming the motor is a 216 but it was a tow truck did GM make a bigger 6 back then? Its free if i want want it but i'm not sure if i can take on another project, any parts on here worth a damn?

Also check out the cool warning refelcters on the last pic that flip out from a handle in the cab.

if it's free take it and turn it in to some coin for your other projects

  5. If you can find the serial number, post it, someone can tell the year, or there are a couple Chevy truck sites that you can run the numbers on.

I think 216 is it for engines -

  6. It is worth grabbing up, especially for free.

Anything compatible with a 1/2 ton truck(cant tell what yours is) is worth some $$.

Guys are asking $250 a door with nothing in it. If you dont want it, I or someone else here does.
