It looks like a brownie type box, to give you more gear is an truck, just what i need.
but wants to make sure before purchase. 182366[4].jpg 182366[3].jpg 182366[2].jpg 182366[1].jpg

  2. No markings or numbers? looks like a bellhousing type mount, but no spline?
Maybe converted to power unit type use.

I have seen trans like that used on lathes, drill presses, mills, to have better speeds. Maybe converted to belt drive.

I write the guy and ask him for any numbers or casting markes.

But that at the bottom is a PTO, right? Looks like a truck box with a modified high speed axle.

    Owner returned my mail.

Explaining that it had a speed drive marked with the Blue arrow.

He explains me that the two lower arrows is for engaging PTO and PTO shaft. I knew that already.
He things it's a four speed and it has a reverse lock out.

Top arrow shows where he found cast name and number:

I can see it's a truck tranni with PTO. And has a modified high speed axle.
It dosent look like that fit any car application.

Doesn't really look like an automotive application, more likely for a piece of industrial or ag equipment.

41-47 chevy truck transmission, but modified to be used in some other application. No synchros in that one, either.

I don't know if a should feel embarr*** to ask silly questions, or be proud that I know how is smarter them me, and dare to ask.

For now I go with the latter. [emoji41][emoji111]️

I mean the questions that are easy for me. Because I had one of those, or something similar. We each know about different stuff...

It's just that Squirrel has a lot of different stuff! Always amazes me the things Squirrel can figure out or contribute knowledge about.
