I picked up a set of doors from some old timer (Real cool dude). He said he had in his garage for at least 40 years and couldn't remember what they came off of. His wife was gettin on his **** to clean out some of his extra stuff before he dies so she won't have to clean out the garage. So I buy them and as I'm carrying them out to my truck a couple of guys wanted to know what they came off of too. These things are heavy! They also have 4 hinges. I was thinking mabe '28 Packard? Some late 20's touring car deal? Well before they get cutup I wanted to make sure that I wasn't cutting up some rare as hen's teeth set of doors some resto freak will give me ***us money for! I still haven't found what these are off of yet? Has 4 hinges per door and they are big. Anyone have a clue?
You should throw them on e-gay probably get $150.00 each....specially if there off a Henway.... Fatchuk
Its been a long time but a friends dad had a 32 Linc KB series It had 4 henges and a double bead ridge line on the door its been a long time and am not sure about the window opening I hope this helps.
Damn that Whippet is the closest thing yet. Third hinge from the top is below the body line...my doors have the third hinge on the body line. They'll get E-gayed after I find out what they are off of! I'd hate to sell them as mystery doors for $25.00 and find out they are worth $30,000.00 'cuz they came from a '27 Henway Deluxe Sport Coupe not the more common '27 Henway Standard Sedan.
