I've got a photo which I believe is 1949 or 50. I'm not too good at identifying the cars.

    #1 - Ford Model A?
    #9 - late 40s Chevy Fleetline?

The silver streak on the trunklid of #9 means it is a Pontiac.

I agree with Daddyo for the most items, except for ...
#9 is a 1946-47 Pontiac, notice the "silver streak" on the boot lid...
#4 is not recognizable, I do not think it is 1946 Chevy, though
#8 beltline does not look like ford to me... could it be a Plymouth? - year is 1935 or -36

Number 8 , not sure but do know for sure it's not a 37 ford. They had a split rear window and headlights in the front fender.

#8 looks like a 38 Chevy based on the headlight location and trunk emblem location

The date and location I know. It's Jan. 1948 at the very earliest, May/Jun. 49 at the very latest.

Looks like there's some dispute on a couple of the cars, but thanks to everyone for the help.

It is very hard to pin down 1942, 46, 47 and 48 models since they made so few changes to those years. If you have the original photo, a magnifying glass, and can look up pictures on the internet you could pin them down exactly. But, I am confident I'm not far wrong, could be a year or 2 off in year models but ID'd the makes correctly.

i believe its a Chevy. I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure fords all had rectangular back windows. That one looks like a oval.
