Is this off something or does it look home made?

I may be looking into putting a hood on my RPU, but not sure what will work to go from a 27 T cowl to a 32 grill shell:(

Just wondering what works best for this type of set-up?

I'd like to do louvers on top like this one as well:)
thanks for any info and if ya have pics of others, they are much appreciated, especially old ones!

Yep looks homebuilt! Be difficult to find a hood that would fit a 27 cowl and deuce grill!

One of the Glass body makers made a hood top for 27 T body to 32 Grill I remember seeing it in a magazine article on Parsts suppliers but can't find the article now that I need one !

I saved the signs from my business building for parking to use for hoods and hood sides on a Track Car project. Nice aluminum.

This car's hood top and sides were probably made from pure virgin material though, not scrounged stuff.

Sweet hood on your coupe/roadster Seret!
I may wanna speak to you later about making one (just the top half) for my RPU someday:)

Are those Sellers equipped knock-offs on those wires?
    They look nice.

I saw that roadster at VLV and I am sure it is a hand built hood. I fell in love with the car and now I think I need one just like it.

For sure, I can make you a hood top.
    Yep those are Sellers knock-offs.

  16. I built the one on my 26 track roadster out of .050 half hard aluminum. I used my thigh, the basketball hoop pole in the back yard and an argon bottle. I made a posterboard pattern first and then startedwith a piece 1/2" larger all around. Louvers later.

    Cab,

If you're looking for someone to punch louvers for you when you've got your hood done, let me know. I'm just over the hill.

    |Henry hood on a '27 is 26 inches from cowl to rad when measured on the top hinge... side curtains are 26 and 3/8ths...
