I bought a bunch of parts from a guy and I was sure he said these drums and backing plates were F-1. But they don't seem to be. They are 5 on 5 1/2, brakes are 11 X 1 1/2 DSCN3308.JPG

The bolt pattern to the spindle is wrong for any pickup brakes up to '56. Maybe later than '56 has that bolt pattern? Maybe they are '57 and up F-100?

Or are those rear brakes that are just missing the parking brake arms?

The bolt pattern on the backing plate should fit a rear axle, either a ****er or large bearing Ford? or Mopar? Lots of them used a similar looking bolt pattern and drain hole.

I've never heard of 11 x 1.5" brake shoes, are you sure they're not 1.75"?

Those look like F100 rears to me, like @alchemy says.

Squirrel, your right they are 1.75" I was going by memory which of course isn't always very good

You guys are right about being rear. I hadn't paid enough attention to the backing plate and the e-brake hole has been plugged.

So thanks for the info guys
